Hello friends, and Happy Tuesday! So, my sweet stamping friends, how are you faring these days? I pray well and I pray that you and your family are safe and sound and free from harm. I don't know about you but I am becoming quite the home body. I never loved cooking and have turned the corner and am trying new recipes. I'm picking up new crafts. I am writing more letters and mailing them than I have before. I am going to glass half full this. I hope you are too!
Well, today, I thought I'd dip into the vault of some of my previous creations, be inspired and challenge you ALL to create using the sketch that I whipped up! I know you all love a good sketch challenge, so I decided to make that the focus of this week's Creative Confetti!
HOW TO PLAY: Simply use the sketch below any way you like! Switch up the shape, flip the sketch on it's side or, heck, turn it upside down if that inspires you! Just make sure that we can "see" the original sketch in your card!
So, here's a peek at the sketch....
And here's a look at one way to put it into play!
I created this card a while back using Power Poppy's digital stamp called Tree Peony. While my sketch shows layering paper, I created my layer by using a fine tip black marker and a little Copic marker to color up an accent. I used Copic markers to color it all up and one of the accents I love is the addition of Nuvo Crystal Drops to add some of those dew drops that you see. I should mention, the sentiment is from a clear stamp set called Burst of Kindness.
Here's a closeup!
So, folks, it is just that simple! Let's see your take on this sketch! After you are done creating, share by linking your card up using the linky below! One of my favorite things about this challenge is the fact that every single entry will be in the running for a $25 gift card to the Power Poppy Shop! Play multiple times during the month? That means multiple chances to win!
So, get those fingers inky and.... good luck!
