Hey everyone! Jessie here today sharing some liquid watercolor painting with you all! I have blown up and printed the Orchid Cascade digital stamp on some hotpress watercolour paper.
For everyone wondering, I use an HP CP1025NW Color Laserjet printer.
I love how vivid the liquid watercolours are! They are so fun to paint with!
Of course I have a process video to share with you all!
Thanks for stopping by this lovely Monday! Hugz Jessie

Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians today! Have a great day everyone!
Hey everyone! Long time no see! I am back with you all today, and to ease back into floral videos for you all, I decided to keep things pretty simple with a little emboss resist technique using Poppy XL.
I of course have a video of this soft watercoloured card for you all as well!
I had a ton of fun playing with this stamp set and the handmade watercolours. The soft splashy look of this card really makes me happy I love watching colours move around!

of these stamp sets are brand new and are in the Power Poppy

stamp set called “Natural Beauties” from one of our previous

Hello Power Poppy Fans! Welcome to another edition of Inspire Me Monday. I’m Allison Cope and I’m your hostess today.
Today we’re going to explore the coloring medium of Brusho Crystal Colour. What’s that you ask. it’s a one-of-a-kind water-based paint medium. It's super-highly-pigmented, unpredictable and it's loads of fun to paint with!
I chose the large and luscious “Tiger Lily XL” stamp set to create with today so grab something to sip and join me in my crafty space…
So here is our end creation. It’s super vivid and rich with interest. I chose a sentiment from the “Short Stacks” stamp set as my sentiment.
I chose to die cut the sentiment semi-circle from the card front and adhere the piece to the inside of my card panel...
If you are interested in printing out my Brusho chart, click the image below to download for FREE. I printed mine out on watercolour paper so it would be printed out on a paper that I would be using with my medium.
A Challenge for Allison:
For my May episode of Inspire Me Monday, I want YOU to leave me a challenge. So leave a comment below indicating what you would like to see me create with… maybe a certain stamp set… maybe a specific medium… maybe just create something with a certain theme. I want to hear from YOU!
Can’t wait to see what you challenge me with!
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I’ve inspired you. So now it’s your turn… go and grab your favorite medium and CREATE!

Howdy fellow Power Poppy fans! Welcome to Inspire Me Monday with your hostess, Allison Cope.
This month I was inspired to create with Copic’s newest challenge, their
#CopicColor challenge! This challenge involves using only the 3 Copic colors
that they assign each month. This month’s three colors include…
YG17, YG23, G17
Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming this Saturday and being that I have a
little Irish in me, I thought I would color up some shamrocks. Well actually,
it’s a plant called Oxalis Triangularis; more commonly
known as False Shamrock, Purple Shamrock or the Love Plant. It is generally
found is a deep hue of rich purple, like the one shown below.
Here’s a quick look at the card I made today featuring the lovely digital
stamp image “Wish You Luck” bouquet. I used the sentiment
from the “Poppies” clear stamp set.
You too can have this digital beauty all for yourself...
I hope you too are inspired to create using some green this week!
Hey everyone, welcome to another Inspire Me Monday! Jessie here with you all again today, hoping to pop some cropping and watercolour inspiration into your Monday!
I enlarged and cropped the Heart Abloom Digital Image to fit the front of an A2 size card, then printed it out on Fabriano Artistico 140lb extra white hotpress watercolour paper. I then pulled out some of my Daniel Smith watercolor paints and had a blast painting up all these gorgeous florals!
Edit: We’ve gotten a lot of questions and comments about what method Jessie uses to resize her images. In a newsletter, I suggested enlarging the image in the print dialog box (that’s what I do) but Jessie has just created a REALLY HELPFUL tutorial video for showing how she enlarges, rotates, and crops images for cards using Microsoft Word. Take a look! ~marcella
Hello! Hello! How is everyone today? Did you all have a good weekend? My name is Kathy Racoosin and we have a big announcement today. More on that at the bottom of the post :)
Today I am inking up the oh so beautiful "Peony Muse" stamp set to create a bouquet. Watch my card unfold in this short video below.
I love the way that you can layer colors easily with Tombow watercolor markers & if you have dry paper between the layers it's even easier in my book. (If you have Zig markers they work beautiful too). I pack some watercolor markers in my carry on and usually do a little watercoloring on the plane. Love that you don't need much water for either.
Since my card panel is one layer I decided to pop one word of the sentiment with some foam tape.
If you are curious what paper I like to use ... I only use the bright white Tim Holtz's watercolor paper and I like that it's pre-cut to save me time.
The blooms were stamped in some antique linen distress ink.
Don't forget the video if you still have questions about the card. Thanks so much for your visit today and now ......
Drumroll please ....... I will pass you over to the most amazing artist, Illustrator, and beautiful woman!!

Howdy and Happy Monday all! I'm Allison Cope and
I'm your hostess this week for Inspire Me
Monday.
Over the years I have owned a few personal accessories that I was able to
decorate. I once owned a photo purse that had a clear pocket to slip smaller
sized layouts into. It was cool but eventually I wore out the straps and it had
to go. Sad day...
I broke my phone in the fall and decided to upgrade my Android phone so I
went and bought a new Samsung 7. I was able to actually find a durable clear
plastic box for it too – which for some reason, I was never able to find for my
older Android. I knew just what I was going to do with it too… DECORATE
IT!
So today I’m sharing with you the process of decorating my phone case.
So join me at my creative desk and find out how you too can ACCESSORIZE!
If you are saying what the heck is this coloring challenge thing lol you can read this post here. I also wanted to thank sweet and lovely Julie for listing the challenge in her Good Vibe 5 post here.
Some of the talented ladies on the Power Poppy team will be coloring this magnificent digital stamp today as well (full list at the bottom of the post) and I am telling you I can't wait to see what everyone does and I know it will inspire us! Woo Hooooo!
Today I have a videofor you and I hope you will watch it because my coloring is with SHARPIE MARKERS and a few other odd markers that I found in my studio. I often hear that so many of you don't have "fancy markers" or can't afford alcohol markers so I wanted to give you a few tips to use some alternative markers that you might have.
This beautiful illustration would be even prettier on bright white paper. I used regular ol' copy paper and just a regular printer for my digital image. Yes we do have printer problems in our house I just can't bear to add another printer to the landfills. BUT, that's part of the point you can color on regular copy paper printed from a regular printer. Yay!
If you like softer more abstract kinda art ... flip your coloring over for a completely different look.
If you don't have a lot of alcohol markers you can round out your palette with other markers. Don't be shy about switching things up. The majority of my coloring today is with lines and more lines.
Adding a few shadows with two copics and that's it the rest was Sharpie markers, a few Bic and some odds and ends.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and I hope that you might consider playing along with us for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. Don't forget you can jump in or out but, I try to encourage you to find 10 minutes a day for some "you" time. Have a great day!
