Hello all and welcome to another fun-filled, colorific post on the Power Poppy blog! It's Tuesday, which means we are here to usher in another color combo challenge designed to have you reaching for HUES that you might not necessarily USE!
We rewound Marcy's IG feed back to December of 2016 for these color cues when she took a "shelfie!" It was a shot where she called color, "water for my soul!" Well, Mrs. Marce, we could NOT agree more! I mean, isn't that one of the main reasons we love card making -- to mix it up and bring out different emotions just by reaching for different colors when we do indeed create? I will say that this photo below is of one of Marcy's beautifully color coordinated shelves in her home. Ahhh... love those colors! They're like BUTTAH!
HOW TO PLAY: It's as easy as 1-2-3! Yep, just that easy! All you need to do is incorporate all THREE of these colors into your card or creation. Once you're done, just link up your project below so that we can all see and then "Oooooo!" and "Ahhhh!" over it! You never know -- that card just might land you a spot as a guest designer for an upcoming Hues to Use Challenge! What fun, right?
On to my creation! Okay, I have a huge confession to make. This is not a new creation. It does, however, the color combo of the week! I was a klutz last week and took a spill and ended up in the emergency room with bruised ribs and a sprained hand that is now green and puffy. I still can't really see my knuckles, but, I am hopeful they will make a return someday! Long story short, stamping isn't really an option right now when you can't press down or hold a marker! So, I give you in inspiration from the past!
And that, my friends, is it from me this week! I can't wait to see how you take this trio of fresh hues for a test drive! So dig in and let's see what you've got! Once you're done, don't forget to link up your creation below. Get those fingers inky and join us in the fun!
Until next week!

I re-cued this card because in addition to the color combo being just perfect, I also really loved the clean design. It is really a pretty easy layout and one that's fresh and fun! After coloring up these itty bitty blossoms from the Cuppa Buttercups digital stamp set, I thought this layout would be a fun one to plop down my colored up and die cut image! I went on the simple side for coloring and only used a few markers Y06, Y08, Y0000, BG0000, BG11, BG13, YG06 C01, and C03. After I was done coloring, I had to add a little razzle dazzle with some glitter glue! See?

Until next week!
