It's a Weekend Stamp Steal!

Well hello there Power Poppy fans! Do we have a sweet little treat for you today! In fact, we have a trio of treats! There are more than a few well-loved illustrations in the Power Poppy Shop and today, a few of them are being offered at a steal. It's a Weekend Stamp Steal! Check it out sweet peeps!

In some parts of the country, it's almost time for these lovelies to sprout after the winter thaw. And, that's exactly why Marcella wanted to make sure you had these drool-worthy images in your stamping stash!

Helebore & Hyacinth features both of these illustrations in one 4 by 6" clear stamp set. I love the delicate petals of the hellebore  -- they come in the most unique shades! The hyacinth in this set is another charmer that gives us stampers a chance to flex our coloring muscles by coloring up that beautiful vintage glass bulb vase.

If you're a digital stamp lover, you're not left out of this love fest. In fact, you have two sets you could pick up for a steal this weekend! Hellebores is the digital version of this image and you can find Hyacinth in Bulb Glass here.

Just to give you plenty of inspiration we've searched the ENTIRE world wide web to bring you a colorfully creative Hellebore & Hyacinth parade! Shall we take a gander at some of our Instant Gardener and Bloom Brigade favorites using these images? Yes, let's do that!

Check out Hyacinth Bulb in Glass by Elizabeth Zaffarano. I love how she created a shaped card thanks to some beautiful fussy cutting!

I love the peaceful easy feeling I get when I look at this hellebore delight created from the hands of Christine Okken!

Ally Cope created a dreamy scene by putting this beautifully colored hyacinth on a bold and beautiful background. Ahhhh.... she sponged on ink to create an ombre effect and then, just to turn a few more heads, added some Pixie Dust spray to give it a little bit of sparkle!

And last but not least in this eye-popping parade is this creation from the fabulous Rhea Weigand! I absolutely love the paper pierced effect behind her floral just to give it all that extra bit of pop! Of course, you can't help but notice her incredible coloring on top of it all! Let's take a moment just to soak it all in!

So there you have it my friends, lots of eye candy and a fabulous Weekend Stamp Steal for the taking! If you like what you see, don't hesitate! This offer is only good through Sunday! Like the graphic says -- 3 days only peeps!

Since it's Friday, that means that some of the Bloomies are on hand to share some of what they've been working on this week. So, stop by and see for yourself the artistry they've crafted just for YOU!

Thanks for stopping by y'all! We love when you pay us a visit! We hope you have a fun and fabulous weekend and.... we'll see you back here real soon!

Inspire Me Monday: Get That Glow!

Howdy all!  Welcome to another Inspire Me Monday.  I'm your hostess Allison Cope and today I’m going to be working my glow, girl!

Actually I’m going to be sharing my coloring process of added a glow to the beautiful Hellebore flowers from the Hellebore & Hyacinth stamp set.  I’m going to be coloring with Copic Markers and then added some detail using some Polychromos Pencils.

Come and join me at my crafty desk…  I sure hope you have grabbed a beverage of choice because this one is a little longer than one of my normal videos.  Enjoy...

Thanks for joining me today.  Here’s another quick look at my finished card.  I finished off the glass vase and the shadow on the ground off camera.

Here is the list of Copic Markers and the Polychromos Pencils I used for the entire card’s focal image…

Thanks for joining me today.  I hope you’ve enjoyed my tutorial and it inspires you to add a glow to your next project!
