Quiet Christmas Release - Introducing Forest Fellas

Hello there, friends — welcome to the reveal of the second collection of brand new images from Power Poppy. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, these illustrations and sentiments were drawn by hand, by me, with supreme inspiration after a lull in my creativity. I felt so grateful to have the flow of drawing, I hardly got up from my spot in the window as I illustrated these special images.

This collection, all that spilled from my fingertips, is available now for YOU, and I hope it brings you great joy.

I first named this release Quiet Christmas, because with all of the heaviness of the pandemic, and the politics, upheaval, restlessness... this year will undoubtably be quieter. It may also end up being a more meaningful Christmas. A season where we are called to Reflect, Renew, and Rejoice.

We have FIVE more stamp sets to add to the FIVE we shared a few weeks ago.

I will be recapping everything at the end of the release, because I don't want you to miss a single set. The Bloom Brigade created the most wonderful array of cards, and it all just gets me in the mood to make things!!

Introducing: Forest Fellas

I’ve gone and drawn it... Power Poppy’s first set of forest friends outfitted in winter wear. If you have half as much fun coloring them as I did illustrating them, you’ll be in for a real treat. This LARGE 6 x 8" set is double the size of our standard sets, which allows for each critter— owl, moose, bear, and fox — to amply fit on a card front. These images are great for Holiday cards, but truly, they work all winter long. With "wild" phrases, snowflakes, snowy trees, and a trail of hearts, you can come up with all manner of sweet scenes.

Sentiments were a collaboration between the Bloom Brigade and me — the ladies had so many clever contributions!

Forest Fellas features a bundled-up barred owl complete with fun puns: "Owl always be here for you" and "Thanks for owl you do". My merry moose has a wreath of berries and an extra sprig for chomping has a coordinating phrases as well: "Merry Christ-moose" and "I really moose seeing you". The skiing fox with a sly expression has "Hello foxy" and "My silver fox". And lastly, the bear with his coffee cup and coveralls is ready to be your Beary best friend. (Along with "Being apart is so hard to bear" and "Warm Bear Hugs".) Have fun with this one.
