But we’d like you to visit the Bloom Brigade designers’ most recent blog posts or Instagram feeds, and find an inspiring creation they’ve made using our new Quiet Christmas collection. Post a comment on today’s Day 1 blog post with a link to the Bloomie’s post and what you like about their project. You can enter as many CASE comments as you’d like.

Here are the Bloom Brigade blogs featuring stamps from Quiet Christmas:

To kick things off, here’s MY creation, I’m sharing an inverted trellis all dressed up like a Christmas tree from the Garden of Gratitude clear polymer stamp set (also available as an instant digital download here.)

Garden of Gratitude is available as both a clear polymer stamp set, and then individually as two digital downloads, which you can grab right now and get to making a card today. (That’s the beauty of digis.)

My project will be a tie-on tag to go with a gift of 'Prinses Irene' tulip bulbs I’m preparing to give to a girlfriend, in memory of her mother, Irene (I’m planting the tulips for her, too!). The trellis image was stamped using Putty-toned neutral ink onto Neenah Opaque cardstock, then illuminated with Prismacolor colored pencils.

How’s this for a non-traditional Christmas palette?

Speaking of non-traditional, many of you already know that I am not really a cardmaker. I love to make things, draw, and color, but I don’t have most of the tools or supplies that you all use. Instead, I love to mix and match emphemera, ribbons, buttons, and things I’ve collected for 30 years, and work those into my creations.

Above, you can see I started with a piece of cardstock onto which I painted washy stripes of watercolor. That’s my base. Then I started dragging things out of my archives: a vintage garden ornament catalog with weathered pages, glittery paper flowers, a pearl-headed pin, paint chips from a project that didn’t happen, garden twine (I literally ran outside in my pajamas to procure it from the shed). I also found an old ink pad in Gold with mere molecules of pigment left in it, and I stamped the HOPE, LOVE, FAITH & JOY stamp from Garden of Gratitude.

I also clipped out a catalog photo of the 'Prinses Irene' tulips so that my friend can see what she’s ultimately getting, beyond than a paper bag of bulbs.

I layered and attached all of my components with double stick tape — I can’t even find my glue. Added a Merry Christmas stamp from this set, wrapped the top in green twine, and popped a glitter flower on the top of my trellis. I found vintage bias tape in colors that matched my ornaments, trimmed with pinking shears, and attached those, too. So much going on... but the thrill I felt while making it, and ultimately the reaction from my friend, will be worth the giant mess I just made. :)

This is the final tag with the gift bag of bulbs. We’re getting a few days above 40° and I hope to get out and plant these for her in the next week!

Can’t wait to see what cards everybody CASEs from the Bloomies’ blogs! Have fun the next 12 days, there are going to be some amazing pieces of art to revel in... so let’s get right into the Christmas spirit.

Beautiful tag, she’s going to love it as much as the tulips and I’m sure the ornament is just as beautiful! Such an amazing 12 days of Christmas giveaway and I don’t color that fast, so I hope I’ll be done in 12 days. Lol

Good luck to everyone!

There are some fantastic cards out there! I am drawn to several on Stacy Morgan's site: http://twinshappy.blogspot.com/ Her Joy to the World that incorporated the matching enamel dots with shades of colors that are slightly muted appealed to me as did the way she shaded her Christmas tree lights and words to luminesce.

I'm working on getting better at CAS creations and this one is really fabulous! I love the bit of pattern behind her beautifully colored Santa. And I think the sequins add just the right amount of embellishing.

I adore Jenny Colacicco's Joy to the World Bouquet card. I love the pomegranate and berries in the design and Jenny did a fabulous job with the coloring of these. But what really stood out is that she fussy cut the front and only colored a small portion on the back and left the rest of the back just black/white. It is gorgeous, I can't wait to CASE one like it!

I especially like Barbara's cabin card that says "Rejoice In The Quiet." I just love how she colored on blue paper. It almost gives me the sense that I'm seeing the cabin on a moonlit night or just at dusk on a winter evening. You have to have grown up in the country, like me, to get a sense of what a winter moonlit night is like and the bluish color the sky has.

I love this stamp set you used Marcella, not only because I fell in love with those stunning rain boots but also because of the great idea to make a trelis in to a Christmas three.
Your tag with bag is stunning, I love the way you combined old and new. I'm from the Netherlands and the tullips are named after one of our princesses, they are so beautiful, I thinnk you as a great gardener new already where the name came from.

I don't think I have to say something about her colouring, that's always awesome but I can say I love the background on this card too.
In short, everything on this card is stunning!
Thank you so much Ally for an other year of awesome inspirations, stay safe and Happy Holidays.

Not only because she used hearts on the background but also the choice of Toned Tan paper combined with the soft colouring.

2 CASE items from Stacy Morgan. I love the Moose tag and her owl card. The moose tag colors are echoed throughout, from the paper to her coloring, the offset moose, the ribbons on top, the paper choice, etc. The whole thing is just perfectly put together. The owl card with all the blue touches, the combination of blue & Kraft, the embossing, the snowflakes, the ribbon... I love the composition of this one too.

CASE a Bloomie! I Chose to CASE Gloria's Forest Fella (https://gloriascraps.blogspot.com/2020/11/power-poppy-creative-confetti-november.html). The reason I chose this card is I wanted to see if I could duplicate her beautiful snowy background - only digitally. I'm rally excited with my background - backgrounds have always been tough for me. So I followed her basic card design - but really enjoyed my own challenge of creating a snowy background. Disappointed with the photo, however, 'cuz my skirt has some awesome folds that disappeared in the photo. :( You can see my card at http://shortonideasaz.blogspot.com/2020/12/power-poppy-bloomie-case.html

Today, day 10, I CASE a card from the lovely Bloomie Gloria, this is the link
https://gloriascraps.blogspot.com/2020/10/power-poppy-christmas-release-day-3.html

I would love to CASE this card because of the gorgeous colouring of the image, those flowers have so much depth.
The combination of the red, green and white is so traditional but the card looks so modern.
I didn't mention yet that my favorite colour is red and I was during the reveal of the stamp set immediately in love with this image!
So definitely a great card to copie.

Thank you so much Gloria for another year of awesome inspirations, stay safe and Happy Holidays.

My CASE a Bloomie card for day 11 is the inspiration card of day 11 on the blog!
http://powerpoppy.blogspot.com/2020/12/12-days-of-christmas-day-11.html

The card is awesome, I still have to try no line watercolouring and the behind the scene photo's Jenny posted are giving me a good look how to copy this awesome work.
It is great to see that she has made the background as if there is a door on which this beautiful wreath hangs.

Thank you so much Jenny for another year of awesome inspirations, stay safe and Happy Holidays.

I love Stacy's gift cards. This is such a simple idea, but very striking and certainly better than just sticking money in a shop bought card!

I love your designs. I made several poinsettia with pomegranate Christmas cards this Christmas. I thought they were beautiful, One lady has called me to say how much she liked the one I set her, prettiest card she has received this year. I love your designs and I have few, some ditigal. All turned out great. Have my eyes on several more. You are so talented. Glad you are doing a blog to inspire us.
