I am so very thankful for YOU. What uplifting, kind-hearted folks. You take the time to share your words of encouragement, appreciation, and wonder in your comments here, on Facebook and Instagram, on our designers’ blogs. I thank you for bringing my Power Poppy images into your crafting space, and sharing your creativity and handmade treasures with others. Ours is a relationship that’s rare — being able to connect through art from our hearts. Now more than ever, this kind of connection is needed in the world. I’ve gotten to know so many of you over the years, and consider this community such a gift in my life. So again, thank you. Wishing you and your friends and family a Thanksgiving filled with love and gratitude.

Now... let’s look at cards that are totally darling, featuring a nostalgic image that’s a lot of fun to color... it’s a favorite around here: Glitter House Village.

The design of this scene is based on 1940s cardboard houses, covered in paint and glitter, sold in dimestores so folks could create little holiday villages. There were tiny bottlebrush trees, and cottony snow. You know those little houses, right? Here’s the original inspiration for my artwork...

And get this, AS OF TODAY, you can get Glitter House Village in both clear polymer AND as a digital download, called Glittery Village. Yippee!

Christmast Remix: Berry Sweet Holiday + Giveaway Winners

Yayyyy!! It’s finally here — no, it’s not Thanksgiving or Black Friday or even the end of the release — it’s the day we can show off one of my favorite classic stamp sets: Berry Sweet Holiday.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. To start, the polymer set, Berry Sweet Holiday has 13 images: two focal images, four sentiments, and 7 little accents to help make your cards really sing.

Christmas Remix - New Digi: Poinsettia XL

It’s the powerhouse of Poinsettias. 

A single bloom — no extra fluffery.

The Poinsettia XL digital stamp download is presented three ways: with a simple stem; as a floating bloom; supersized to fill an entire 5" x 7" card front. Of course you can crop it, resize it, flip it, and flop it — digitals are so highly versatile!

The Poinsettia XL floral may be straight-forward, but it’s got a lot of soul. Slightly rippled petals and a sweet center (get this, the center is actually the flower part of a Poinsettia — the rest are fancy sepals, petals, and leaves). 

One of the versions included has my handlettered “Joy to the World” sentiment, which is lots of fun to color.

Our brand new Bloomie Broni Holcombe went with the supersize cropped version — measuring in at a lush and lovely 5" x 7" — and used her trusty watercolor palette to supply holiday punch.

Christmas Remix - New Digi: Winter Flora

I hope you’re sitting down for this one.

Sometimes I dream up something in my sketchbook, and it starts out pretty simple. Such was the case with today’s brand new stamp set, Winter Flora, available as a digital download... but then I just kept drawing and drawing until I felt it was “just right”. The final artwork really packs a wallop!

Winter Flora is a rich and diverse bouquet composted of Poinsettia, Sweet Bay Magnolia, and Hellebore blooms. Accented with round glass balls and berries, and the greenery of Holly, Pine, and Spruce.

I’m offering this digi with lots of variations — borders in different sizes both with and without sentiments, a spray of flowers by themselves, hand lettering... it’s a very special set and there is SO MUCH you can do with it.

Our Bloomie Stacy Morgan made a whole bunch of beautiful versions with this set.

As you’ll soon see from our designers, you can take Winter Flora in a lot of directions, from simple to complex, and every one is a showstopper!

Christmas Remix: The Snowy Church of O Holy Night

This one is one of our favorites, and it’s easy to see why. There is something so welcoming about a church on a snowy winter’s night ... especially on Christmas Eve. It’s a refuge, a place to rejoice, sing, and commune with God, family, and friends. Glowing windows beckon, and the snowy scene glistens. Are you with me?

Christmas Remix - New Digi: Season of Serenity

Hello there, all, welcome back. Today’s offering is a brand new digital stamp set. That’s one of the reasons I’m calling this release a “remix” — I’m shaking things up. With these new images and sentiments, you can purchase, download, print, and set off coloring right away, no waiting!

Season of Serenity is so versatile — you get one focal image of a wreath of snow-topped evergreens and holly, into which you can fit a number of sentiments. Thanks to new Bloomie, Nancy Sheads, we decided to offer the bird in holly as a separate focal image! 

Whether you color the birdie as a blue jay or a cardinal (they have similar body structure), you can celebrate the peacefulness of nature with your own unique take using Season of Serenity.
