Our first Holiday release kicks off Saturday!

Hello and happy day everybody!

Hope you all are enjoying the gorgeous September weather and getting those first tastes of fall’s chill. I know I’m ready, because I’ve been living Christmas and the holiday hustle bustle since July preparing for the new release! And it’s FINALLY TIME! We’re busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for the launch of our very first Holiday stamp collection here at Power Poppy. I’m calling it the Happiest Holiday Collection because I am FEELING SO GOOD about getting to create these images especially for you creative souls! What a wonderful, uplifting, GOOD community of people — I am so grateful to get to make things that help you show off your creative talents. Thank you again for welcoming me (well, my artwork at least) into your craft rooms!

Here’s a quick peek at what I’ve been concocting in my own version of Santa’s workshop (a rotating situation that could be my sunny upstairs studio, living room sofa—yes, with the cat in my lap or on my arm at many points, dining room table, front stoop, and for one stint, in a hotel room in Indianapolis).

I have surrounded myself with glitter and microflitter and frilly ribbons and vintage postcards, decorating magazines, felted stockings and and and... I’m not going to spill ALL the details but you know I fuel my fire for drawing and making by looking and absorbing the things I love! Wait, did I leave out Pinterest? Yep, I zapped quite a few brain cells with my eyes glued a bit too close to the laptop at the delicious images of the internet’s curated corkboards.

The good stuff starts popping on Saturday morning, September 27th — hope we’ll see you right here with your coffee in hand as the Bloom Brigade gets ready to rock your socks off with their cool Christmas-y creations!! Oh, it’s going to be FUN!
