How About A Little Creativity This Weekend?

Hello all! How's your week ending? We at Power Poppy hope it's singing a high note and that you have fabulous plans for the weekend ahead! If you don't, stay tuned, we have some fun ways that you can spend a little time and get those creative juices flowing in the process!

For starters, the days are drawing near when our Power and Spark Shabby & Chic Challenge will come to a close! And, if you haven't let your shabby chic style stut its stuff, why not try our challenge on for size? Will you reach for the washed out colors of linen and rose? Or, will you play up the lace and distressed edges like PattiWilley did in this splendid jewel toned creation below? We love her card to pieces! Just in case you wondered, she used one of our newer sets called So Grateful and dressed it up with a bit of watercolor.

The good news is, it’s not too late to get a little shabby and a little chic! After all, Power Poppy goodness could be yours, just for playing along! This Power & Spark Challenge closes August 31st at 10PM EST and the winner will be announced in our blog post set for the first Friday of September! That's also when we'll take the lid off and share the details for the next Power & Spark Challenge, so stay tuned for that bit of fun!

Speaking of fun, it wouldn't be a Friday unless we had our own version of the Parade of Champions with our oh-so-special Bloom Brigade! Consider this Idea #2 for ways to take part in a little creative fun! It's one more way to be inspired. We love seeing what these gals whip up on a weekly basis and we know you do too! So hop, skip and jump your way through blog land to see what they have this week!

Thanks for stopping by and spending a bit of your day with us! Be sure to swing by Monday when Kathy Jones will share one totally adorable way to send a little bit of love in your kiddo's lunch box! See you then!
