April Challenge: Are you getting your Vitamin ME?

Hello my sweet stamping friends! It's a new month, which means it's time to usher in a whole new challenge full of design power with a bit of a creative spark. This month, however, we're bucking the trend a little bit to talk about life instead of card making. Let me pose these questions for you all.....

What do you do that feeds your soul?
How do you get those positive vibes moving in your life?
What brings you joy?

If you have no idea how to answer those questions THEN MAYBE this challenge is for YOU! This month's challenge is all about making your heart sing by taking time to rejuvenate your spirit!

HOW TO PLAY: Recently on the Power Poppy newsletter, Ms. Marce shared just how important it is -- for our health, our vitality, our ability to do for others -- to soak up some "me" time and slow down to enjoy life's moments. So, this month's challenge isn't about making a card, following a sketch, or using a certain color palette. It's about YOU. Let's hear what Marcy has to say....

Hi, everybody! This month, I encourage you to reflect, revive, and rejuvenate your very being. I call it “soaking up Vitamin ME!” It is so important to fill your soul with the things that bring you peace, joy, and energy. Whether it’s exercise, prayer or meditation, time spent outdoors, time doing activities you love, taking a bubble bath — what fills you up with a renewed sense of purpose? LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS BLOG POST about what YOU will do to care for yourself this month!

One comment will be randomly selected to win a $50 gift code to spend at Power Poppy. If you’d like to post a card that celebrates how you get your Vitamin ME, we have a link for that, too!

xoxoxoxo and I am so proud of you for getting your Vitamin ME.
~marcella

And, I just have to share a wee bit about how Marcy soaks in a little extra Vitamin Me! So fun, and what a challenge for us all to sit back, reflect, be mindful and, well, for lack of a better way of saying it, just enjoy the life we are blessed to live!

So, to play along, simply comment below on what you do to carve out time for yourself! It's just as simple as that! Leave a comment on the comments section for this post to share and you'll be in the running to win a $50 shopping spree to the Power Poppy Shop! Share this little challenge on social media and SHOW us a photo of you doing those things that deliver a little extra Vitamin Me! #VitaminMe. We would love to see! Keep in mind, you have until April 30th at 8PM EST to enter your comment in order to be in the running!

Hi Marcella and Crew!
I love stamping, quilting, and reading for 'me' time. But I have to admit that my favorite 'me' time is saying the Rosary each morning (I'm Catholic). I find it lowers my heart rate, eases my anxiety, and allows me to meditate on the mystery of Christ's life. I've tried other methods of meditation, but can't seem to find a rhythm. The repetition of the prayers takes me out of my self and focuses me on something other than my worries, anxieties, etc.

Congrats, Jennifer! Your card is gorgeous!

This month, I am getting outside more and watching the birds. It is almost migration here and it should be fun and rejuvenating to get out in nature.

Hello Marcella and the fabulous Bloom Brigade: One of the things I do for ME is create my cards, I love water coloring the gorgeous Power Poppy images, this is so relaxing and helps my creative mind get a good workout.
For my physical well being I SWIM, BIKE AND RUN. As a Triathlete and an Iron Man these 3 sports form a vital part of my days. It's invigorating, refreshing, challenging, rewarding and a total BLAST!!
Thank you for the chance to win this fabulous prize.
Big Hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.

Thanks Marcella for making us all take the time to reflect on our own inner being. I love spending time with hubby and also being in my craftroom creating whatever that day bings to me. Also like to color following Vanilla Arts she is the best and so inspiring.

My favorite things to do for me....spend time with my husband, reading and spending time in my craft room. If it ever gets warm here in Michigan, I will add taking walks to the list but it is just too cold right now.

Ha ha ha.. Too funny. ME time :) What's that? I feel like I spend all my time doing things for everyone else. I think the most and best ME time is late in the day when I can spend time pencil coloring or early in the morning when I can work out (trying to get a routine going). I am hoping once the snow is gone I'm hoping to search out waterfalls at least once a month. If I find some, I'll share pictures :)

Spending time with my hubby is my favorite Vitamin Me. We've been married 41 years, but he's suffered from MS during 33 of those years. In spite of that, he is the most positive, wise, faith-filled person I know. And his sense of humor is stellar. So... laughing with my hubby provides my daily dose of joy.

What a lovely challenge! Here on the Canadian prairies it feels like Spring has forgotten to come... we're all tired of what has been a long, cold winter... so it's refreshing to stop complaining and do some reflecting on something positive! What keeps me going through our tough winters and gives me my Vitamin "Me" is visiting with my friends and crafting together, playing and cuddling with my pets (two dogs and two canaries), spending time with my grandchildren, and tending my houseplants (love, love, love African Violets! *hint* *hint* Marcella.) ;)

WONDERFUL challenge!
We all get so caught up worrying about those around us that it is easy to get distracted ... and run out of time! I thought that colouring with my Copic markers and making cards was my dose of Vitamin ME, a distraction that I enjoy when my RA lets me but I find that I miss the pleasure that taking photos "just because". I used to spend quiet time wandering around taking photos around the house and in the garden of everyday things, especially the wonders of Mother Nature, so I have decided that my dose of Vitamin ME is going to be spending time taking a photo-a-day (... at least one) that will remind me of the everyday things that caught my eye, triggered my imagination or summed up what was happening that day.
THANK YOU for reminding us to take time out for ourselves :)
PS - an extra does of Vitamin ME is already a routine, taking little walks each day with my beloved husband. If the weather is too horrid to be outside, he drives us to a shopping strip or centre so that we can walk indoors ... without $hopping of course

Brandi R said...

Me time, huh? Boy doesn't that sound wonderful. My "me time" is never just me...lol. When I attempt it, there is always something that interrupts (usually a furry kind). I have MUCH more me time when the weather is nice. Doggies go outside to play and I go with them. I sit and read, color, or play a game while they soak in the sun. Outside of nice weather, I try to squeeze in 5-10 mins here and there of just quiet time for me. Sometimes I get lucky :-D

Rebecca Ednie said...

I have a few things I like to do depending on the season. In winter, I throw on a big sweater, warm socks, grab a Baileys spiked hot chocolate and curl up on the couch with my cat and a book. I’m nice weather I head outside to a comfy chair with my book or my watercolors to sketch and paint the scene in front of me. I also love to take a wine cooler with me into my big tub full of hot water and big bubbles with some music and you guessed, a book!

Holly Saveur said...

ME time...well if it's cold I like to make a card...just color some flowers or other stamps with Inktense pencils...If the sun is shining...well than I love to be in the garden..working on the flowerbeds..or just sit in a chair with a book..surrounded by my two sweet hen(who help with the gardening!!)...and boy and girl rabbit Lea and Drup who want cuddles..so sweet..love to see what they all do..run around...and just have fun!

Recently, we have been so lucky to spend the winters in Florida. Replacing the cold snowy winters of Wisconsin. This has opened up a whole new world of being outside. My husband and I walk each day and talk about the events or news of the day. I was always an avid reader, but lately I have been listening to audio books while I sit and color an image that I have stamped. The classes at Kit and Clowder sweetened that up for me and I am totally enjoying doing that. It is the ultimate multi-tasking. Now I am looking forward to returning home, I so appreciate it more. I want to spend time with my grand kids and friends. I miss them and appreciate them after being away.

Donna Phelan said...

Ooooh love Jennifer's card! Congratulations! Hmmm 'Me Time'....well I have always been an avid gardener and I enjoy digging in the dirt, Mother Nature is AHmazing! I'm beginning to fear that our Spring may never show up here, snow yesterday, snow tomorrow, makes it difficult to play outside for sure, but I have already bought some pretty flower seeds, all of my old fashion favorites, 4 O'Clocks, Cosmos, Sweet Peas, etc. I have all of the old standbys and collect the seeds each Fall--it's soooo FUN! But until it warms my 'Me Time' has been taken up by some "Sweet P Time". We had our 1st grandchild last Fall, Penelope Joy, and I volunteered to watch her 2 days a week AND the kids let me lol She is almost 6 months old and learns something new everyday, so magical! I can't wait til we can garden and bake and even card make together, how lucky am I?!?! But, until then we'll just sing like Mermaids, only way off key! lol Pure JOY! xo~

jeanchaneyaz said...

It took me a long time to realize that if I'm not learning/trying something new every day, I am not happy. I will continue on my journey allowing myself the time away from other distractions to keep to that path. It's important to put yourself first now and then.

Loved the beautiful cards and "vitamin ME" thoughts from the Bloomies, and what a fun challenge! Congratulations, Jen! She's a sweetheart, and I love her card! You all know what my vitamin ME is -- time with God each morning, coloring, and always time with my sweetheart! Love you all too...you are some vitamins for me!! Hugs and love!

What a lovely concept. We all need me time. Spring is coming and so hopefully lots of time in the garden, soaking up some sunshine, listening to the birds sing, planting and digging and watching things grow. The miracle of a tiny seed growing to a small, large, huge plant is a source of joy and inspiration. Blessed be. Hugz

Lagene said...

Vitamin ME time is spent creating in my craft room. And as weird as it may sound I take time out in the yard/acreage and pull weeds (yes you heard me correctly, I find that mindless exercise very relaxing, I'm out in the fresh air and sunshine and can think or not think while accomplishing some much needed weeding AND I get to see God's glorious riot of colors whether in the plants/trees/birds/sky/animals it is all good for my soul)

Jennifer’s card is gorgeous!!! For my me time, I seem to rotate between three things. Reading and coloring stamped images are always so helpful to calm my mind and help me relax. The other we call dirt therapy. 🤣 My husband helped me create a butterfly garden in our backyard and I love working in it and sitting on the swing watching it come to life in the spring. Butterflies are amazing and watching them always fills me with awe.

My favorite thing to do is to take my dogs out for long walks in the woods. Getting back to nature and hanging with my best buds.

I love to take lessons in colouring wether it is copics, pencils or ceramic painting. It is zen time for me just being in the moment going with the flow. I also love to walk in nature and look at the wonderfull colours surrounding me. The third thing that comes to mind is cuddling my beloved cats. Hearing them purr and lay so beautifully fills my heart with joy and whilst it is their pleasure getting pampered and cuddled they give me time to slow down be in the moment and enjoy. Sending hugs Marion L

My "me" time? It is so simple and so very hard to find!! Just the time to make cards (or paper projects) that I WANT TO MAKE!! No guidelines, no obligation... Just some crazy beautiful idea I've been aching to explore. A new stamp set ;) or a new technique, seeing my dies in a new way ~ these things are so therapeutic to me!! Then I like to blog them and share them with everyone plus the recipient. Oh, that is such food for my soul!!! Have a crazy, wonderful, sun shining, beautiful, lovely, creative day <3 (that's a heart shape!!)

Aw... how CUTE And Fun is Jennifer's card! Her card totally makes me smile! Congrats to Jennifer!

My Vitamin Me? Well, I'm actually pretty good at soaking up Vitamin Me - since I retired three years ago, I wake up, have my cup of coffee, a little house cleaning, and off to my craft table! I spend a great deal of time playing with paper! :D This week, though, I do have to catch up on some of that Vitamin Me as we've had houseguests for the past 12 days! :D

Love to color said...

My Vitamin Me is a dose of daily coloring; I find it to be so relaxing and something I like to do on my lap desk in the evenings in my comfortable recliner right next to my husband. I recently added a second dose of Vitamin Me by finally creating a blog so I can enter the Power Poppy challenges along with some others. 😂

Berina RGA said...

Congratulations Jennifer! Beautiful card! My Vitamin Me - I love to color, especially with my Copics. So I take some time to color images. I love to color floral images. I have a few pieces of white card stock with stamped or printed images for coloring and take it to my recliner, watch one of my favorite shows and start coloring. Another thing that I love to do nowadays - I recently started driving, so I like to go to some of the stores and you never know where you get inspiration. So that's how I get my vitamin ME :)

Amy Marshall said...

My Vitamin Me time usually includes time at night on my chaise with good music, a great smelling candle, a glass of sweet ice tea and a book. During the day I love to play in my craft room with my mom. On sunny afternoons I love to soak up the great outdoors by swinging with my dog.

Helen Gullett said...

This “Vitamin Me” is super special and rare... LOL... My “Vitamin Me” is all about slowing down and hanging out with my family doing something fun, such as go out hiking, camping, or just loafing at home. It is the time that I do not have to think of what’s on my To Do List 😉

Esther Asbury said...

My favorite "Vitamin Me" is working in my flower beds. I'm fairly new to gardening and am finding so much enjoyment in discovering new perennials to add to my flower beds each year. It's so rewarding to cut fresh flowers in the supper and create "Mason Jar Bouquets" to display around my house.

Jennifer's card is gorgeous!
Me? I made a couple of overdue appointments for myself. Along with other"vitamin me" activities, I play mandolin for my own guilty pleasure. I love bluegrass music and playing mandolin gives me good vibes.

Robin said...

I love to be in the garden. I love growing food for my family to bring healthy options into our daily lives. This year I purchased some new raised bed materials so we will be putting them together in time to start spring planting here in Maryland. I can't wait for it to warm up a little so I can spend more time outdoors in the garden.

Holly said...

Ahhhhhhhhh..... I love sitting in our rocking chairs on our porches (front and back) with my hubby, just enjoying the mild temperatures and the gentle breezes. This is the time to soak it all in before the 100 degree temperatures settle in for the long summer. :-)

Essie said...

Congratulations, Jen! What a lovely card! And for me, playing at making cards is the best me time I get (not much of it lately), but I love just playing with the colors and textures and images...nothing better than that, for me. It calms me otherwise overly-busy brain to just get lost in coloring and building something beautiful for my friends or loved ones.

What a wonderful post! I enjoyed reading how everyone enjoys some ME time. As for me, weather permitting, I love getting outdoors, going for long walks and communing with nature. I am fortunate to have a nature preserve nearby. When I get to the point on the trail that I can't see or hear anything but the wildlife, ahhh, pure bliss. When I'm stuck indoors, spending some quiet time coloring gives me my good vibes!

MyVitamin “Me” is probably 3 fold, Worship God through His word, the Bible, and loving others in my little world, family, creativity through Stamping and techniques, and nature- mountains, streams, waterfalls, flowers...all are so therapeutic for me!

Lisa K said...

My Vitamin "Me" time begins with housework when most of my house is sleeping. There was a time when I could not do much in the world of keeping up with my house, so I am very thankful that I can take care of many of the household tasks. Later in the day, I often walk on my treadmill, which keeps my joints happy. And another thing I do is spend a lot of time in my craft room, stamping, die cutting, coloring and creating. These items along with reading my Bible feed my soul and keep me happy.

Nicola Gold said...

I spend so much time looking after my kids, making sure they eat healthily etc that I often neglect myself.
My 'ME' times are:
~ Getting a shower to myself - using great products to feel refreshed and recharged and just taking the time to relax.
~ Going to the chiropractor and/or massage - my body really needs this every few weeks to undo those stressy knots and misaligned joints.
~ Having coffee with a friend - perfect to unwind with some girl talk and forget I'm a mom for a while!
~ Crafting - well of course this has to be on the list!!

Lisa said...

My "me" time always involves nature. I spent yesterday(Sun 4/15) in Denali National Park, walking the park road and just enjoying the natural beauty that I am so lucky to live by. The snow, the wildlife, Denali towering above the landscape.....nothing soothes my soul like being out in nature and surrounded by the absolute beauty of Alaska.

I am so very blessed to be retired and enjoy 'me time' much more frequently than when I worked full time. I love to spend time in my art room, creating all sorts of lovelies, and playing with my 'stuff.' In spring and summer, I enjoy my garden. There's something intensely satisfying about getting your hands in the dirt, tending and planting flowers, and watching them come to maturity. Coffee and/or wine on the deck, and long walks along the river behind our home bring great delight!

TracyM #6773 said...

My ME time is helping ... it is WONDERFUL to stop, take the time to look and listen then capture memories along the way :)

Crafting with Darcy said...

I try to start every day thinking of all the things I am blessed with and grateful for. It starts my day on a positive note. Since I retired over a year and a half ago, I spend my "me" time trying to do at least one project per day. Sometimes, it is organizing a drawer in my kitchen or maybe pulling weeds in the garden. As long as I feel like I've accomplished something, I am happy with myself. Spring finally arrived here in Iowa and I am now spending my free time with gardening and crafting. I absolutely love to color and find it is my own personal therapy! When I color, I have no cares or responsibilities. If only one could color all day long!! I have a goal of starting to cook better meals. When working, it was so easy to grab the quickest thing to make a meal, and I realize that is not the healthiest way to cook.
Thanks for this challenge. It makes me think of the little things I take for granted.

Julie Gearinger said...

My Vitamin “Me” Time- wow, what a great challenge! I am a bit like Darcy...due to my job re-locating a few years ago out of state, I have "retired" early and my hubby retired a year later. He is so supportive of my crafting hobbies and I am able to spend time with him even when I am creating something in my studio (earbuds were the best gift we gave to each other- he can listen to his sports while I listen to music and/or movies and we are in the same room together:-)). For relaxation, we love to watch birds, read/study God’s Word and well, just be together! The quiet time in the morning is my favorite time of day for “me” and as I pray, I love to reflect on our blessings (even though my hubby has been diagnosed with numerous cancers, the Lord has been so good to us)! I probably spend less time for “me” but definitely love my "we" time :-) Hugs and thanks for letting us all share a bit about ourselves!

The biggest thing I've done for ME lately is to quit smoking after almost 39 years :D I also enjoy having a coffee and visit with friends, and of course, anything creative, from cooking to cardmaking definitely helps me unwind!

I waited to the last minute to comment not knowing what I wanted to share. Now in my late 60's, I think I maybe I have too much Vitamin Me because my vitamin me comes from being in my craft room, coloring and making cards.I probably spend too much time there but I my focus has always been others and so even while soaking up my vitamin me by crafting, I get another dose by giving cards and other crafts to others which gives me another shot of satisfaction. Win - win !

Thank you for providing an opportunity for some of us to reflect about what inspires and feeds us. I was a caregiver for many years and now I am lucky to spend "me" time cooking, reading, and spending time with my grandchildren. But the number one way for me to relax is to craft and check out what others are doing, which is how I found this blog. Thank you for the continued inspiration.

I turned 65 in January and will be working at least til the end of 2020 I think... get to start collecting my SS on top of my salary beginning next January... woo hoo.... I work 11-13 hours a day but fortunately make OT and support some really great folks and can't wait to get to work each day (I know how fortunate I am to be able to say that too!)... anyway... hubby and I are both natives of Orlando (and can't wait to leave)... found a great little 2-story Victorian in a small college town about an hour NE of St Louis in Greenville IL... I escape up there for a long weekend when I need to refresh/reboot and do nothing... it is heaven! There is nothing like 'small town America' and Midwest hospitality. Can't wait to be there full-time when we retire... making myself a studio out of the 2-car garage so I can teach and share my love of cardmaking as a means of 'scattering kindness like confetti'... thank you for sharing your talent and passion with us!

I and three of my crafty buddies have decided to set aside every Monday morning to get together over breakfast and share. We share ideas, we share encouragement, we share constructive criticism, we share it all. It always starts my week of on the absolute best path ever. No matter how busy our weeks are (and we are all very busy gals), that is OUR time and we cherish it and use it and help each other to start the week off on the right foot. I recently spent 3 months living aboard our sailboat and away from these gals and I cannot even explain how much of a hole that left in my life. Don't get me wrong - 3 months living on the water in a warm climate was a distinctly nice change from the cold, snowy weather in Colorado, but every Monday morning I was homesick! Taking just those few hours a week to spend time with creative friends makes all the difference in the world.

5. Playing with paper
6. Sleep

My Vitamin Me time is usually either spending time playing with my paper, or making soap and personal care products...sometimes I bake, but don't do that near as much as I used to since I'm trying to beat some health issues (nothing real serious far as I know) and baking and eating yummy things just doesn't help that. LOL Also...in the warm months (which we are FINALLY in now it appears) I take my two dachshunds outside and enjoy nature here on our farm in North Missouri. LOVE spending at least part of the evening lounging outside listening to the birds, frogs and insects as night falls around us. My day is complete if I get to hear one of the elusive whip-poor-wills that I remember from my growing up years...I don't think there are as many here as there were back then.

I have recently experienced some very stressful times. The kind that most people never see in their lifetime. Working through what happened has required thoughtful decisions at each step of the way. My husband and I have both found solace in walking. We walked in the snow, in the rain and have relished the rare sunshine. On our walks we have weighed the possibilities and shared our thoughts on how to proceed. Walking has been a wonderful escape and allowed us to kick around ideas with clear heads. It was our "ME" time that we needed to make some serious decisions. For just myself, sleep. I have needed alot of it and relish every peaceful minute of it. Thank you for having this challenge!

My Vitamin ME time is spending time with family and friends, crafting alone and with friends and playing with my dogs. They just seem to calm me down on any stressful day.

My Vitamin "Me" is taking a couple days away from home and just going for a road trip with my hubby. Away from phones, computers, everything but he and I and new sights to see.

The beach (2 hrs away) is my happy place, which I get to visit 2 or 3 times a year. But for more frequent me time, I spend time crafting.

To refill my well, I have quiet time. Get in my favorite comfy chair, quiet the chatter in my head, and tune into the Divine flow.
For play time, I love to color in my happy room aka my studio which is filled with natural light and looks out onto a lovely yard. Sometimes I invite a few crafting buddies over and we play.

Me Time is sitting in a garden with my corgi by my side, listening to the birds, looking at all the colours and just letting my mind wander. Peaceful and fulfilling.

My vitamin "ME" is some quiet time in my wicker rocker on my front porch. If a glass of fresh, homemade lemonade is involved then even better!! It's great to rock, relax, enjoy the breeze, listen to the birds and watch the clouds drift past. Ahhh...

Well I might be pushing my luck to post my story because it's already May 1 here in Australia. Anyway I still wanted to add my bit of Vitamin ME.... It seems that Friday mornings is when I get my boost of Vit ME - because it's when I rake up all the mango leaves for the week and put them in the bin - it's a time when my negatives for the week are gathered together - like the leaves, and swept away - into the bin with the leaves, and then there's time for quietness in my head... I find raking and weeding and just an early morning walk about the garden with the fresh new day quite restorative and calming, like popping a Vitamin ME pill...

A year ago, when I lived in Savannah, I would either sit in my garden on the lagoon and watch the birds, or I would head down to the beach for some sand and ocean. I miss it so much. Now, that I live in Texas, I have been driving over to visit a local herd of longhorns. We sit and talk a while and I feel better.

I try to have "moments" throughout my day. I start my day with morning stretches, just 5-10 minutes of stretching out my body, getting ready for the day. I try to stay in the moment and spend extra time on areas that need more attention. I then go down and give treats to a couple members of "God's Cat garden", the feral cat community that we care for, having neutered all of the members (15) and still care for them. Three of them are tame, want to be petted and get cat treats. They are fun to watch and they watch us also, looking in the patio door while we have meals. I also try to spend at least 10-15 minutes/day doing something creative. My son summed it up with"Mom, you just HAVE to create something every day, it's who you are". I also spend 10-15 minutes before bed in prayer and Bible reading. These little moments seem to give me moments of rejuvenation.

My Vitamin ME. . . colouring images especially with prisma pencils but am learning Copics. I also love to read fiction (nothing like a great who-dunnit mystery with some romance thrown in!) I also love to enjoy my flavoured coffee on our front porch or back deck in the sunshine. I learned a long time ago to enjoy ME time and never feel guilty. I go through withdrawals if I don't take the time! Thanks for the chance to win! x

I really enjoy your blog!! I like to create cards that will make someone else's day better when they receive them. So stamping and designing are my ME time.

My Vit Me - I gather my dogs together and any others that I am looking after and head over the fields to the woods. I may have to walk through a field of sheep and lambs, depending on the season, climb over a fence and then down by the side of the woods. I hear birds singing, woodpeckers pecking and on the odd occasion I might see a Munkjack (small dear). If it is Autumn I stop to pick blackberries. I go through a gate and walk past another sheep field. When the sheep in this field see me, they all run and climb on the fence to get to any offerings I may have for them. It originally started out with just one sheep running to see me, she has sadly died and since then, they all come, lambs included. Further down I call out to Ched the guard dog. He comes out to see me, we have a chat, a good stroke and rub around his ears, followed by some treats. Shortly after this I pass the Hen, Duck and Goose house. I watch them scratching the digging in earth or swimming in their pond. I then return the way I have come via the wood. The dogs run round and about, sniffing holes, jumping fallen trees/logs and when is has been raining run in and out of the streams and large puddles. I look at what is growing, currently bluebells and primroses. I look at the buds forming on the trees and examine animal holes with my one dog Jack, to see if there is any sign on it being inhabited. Sitting on a log in the wood listening to all the sounds is peaceful and rejuvenating. Returning home I am walking towards the valley, I can see for miles and I just enjoy looking at the scenery, the clouds, people commuting in cars and way in the distance Warwick Castle, standing proud and majestic in the setting sun.
