Let Freedom Ring - a Special Challenge and Free Digis!

To all of our crafty peeps living in the U.S. of A., Happy 4th of July! We hope today means a day spent with family enjoying the true freedoms we have living in this great land!

Marcella and her daughter Lulu brought their art supplies outside yesterday and made cards to celebrate Independence Day. Above is the new Countryside Bouquet digi, which Marcella printed onto Exact Vellum Bristol and painted with splashy watercolors.

Lulu grabbed the Marcella’s Mixtape set from our very first Power Poppy release, and  stamped and colored the vintage party horns for her happy handmade card!

Inside, Lulu pulled out a good-natured riddle, “Is there a Fourth of July in England?” “Yes! It comes right after the 3rd!” Hehe!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Now, in honor of our home country’s big celebration, we have a special challenge for EVERYONE!

HOW TO PLAY: To play along with us this week, all you have to do is follow this little formula below!

1 point for everyone who uses Power Poppy stamps or digis!
2 points if you use Power Poppy images with patriotic colors representing YOUR country
3 points for everyone who follows the first two steps plus uses one of our digi freebies!

Please, if you play, be sure to add a link back to this challenge post and please only use Power Poppy images.

So, what do the points mean? Each point equals the number of entries you’ll have in our end of the month Power Poppy Peeps of the Week Challenge for a free stamp set of your choice!

Wait, did I just say digi freebies?

Oh YES, I did. Here are three FREE sentiments we’ve designed to honor liberty and freedom, and they are yours to download and use with our Let Freedom Ring Challenge (and beyond)!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

To use these free digital sentiments, simply right click and save the image file to your computer (or press Control and click if you’re on a Mac to get the save image option), size and print as you like. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Please note: these images are intended for personal, handmade creations and are not for commercial or business use.

The Bloom Brigade took on this challenge and so be sure to hop on over and see these ladies’ gorgeous creations!

BEFORE WE GO -- we not only have a couple winners to share from last week’s Power Poppy Peeps of the Week entries. We have to draw a name from all of the entries for the winner of a free stamp set for the month! Are you ready?

First up, this week’s Peeps of the Week were hand-picked by Marcella herself! What an honor that is, right? First top honor goes to Theresa P.! Theresa, Marcella just loved the way you colored up these fabulous Geraniums, accenting it not only with a touch of antique flair but splashes of white too!

And the second honoree for Peep of the Week is...... Jennie Black! Jennie has not one but two creations entered and you can see them both HERE! Don't you love the depth of her coloring with these beautiful Tulips? We sure did!

Now with that said, we honestly had a HARD time picking winners this week because ALL of the entries were so incredibly spectacular! They truly were! We can't wait to see what you fabulous card designers come up with next! Every Friday is like Christmas for us!

Now to the Winner of the Month -- for the FREE POWER POPPY STAMP SET!

We threw all the names in a hat (making sure to count double, triple and even quadruple entries), and the winner is......

NANCY KIRK!

Nancy, email us at bloom@powerpoppy.com and let us know your snail mail address and which set you'd like us to send your way!

Do you want a shot at winning our Peep of the Week Challenge? Be sure to link up your Power Poppy creations below!
