Inspire Me Monday - Father's Day Copic Tutorial with Mindy

Hello my crafty friends. It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I have another Copic Marker Coloring Tutorial to share with you today.

Today, we are focusing on coloring a Father's Day Image, Fly Guy Digi Stamp Set. I love how this set has all the different images that you can use all year round. It's the perfect time for a Father's Day Card, though. So, we are going with that!

I printed my Fly Guy Digi Stamp on my Copic Xpress it Blending Card -- my favorite to use with Copic Marker. Ok, So here's the Copic List of the colors I used if you would like to follow along this tutorial.

E11, E13, E30, E31, E33, YG67, YG63, N2, N4, N6, N8, B0000, B00, BG15, BG75, B95, R22

I hope you fond this tutorial helpful. You can come over to my site, My Creative Scoop and sign up for my newsletters for Copic tips and tricks! Have a lovely week!

Creating a Background behind your Power Poppy Flowers using Copics!

Hello! It's Mindy here from MyCreativeScoop.com with another Copic Marker Tutorial to share on this Inspire Me Monday!

I'm using this brand new Digi Stamp Blossoming Cherry which is being released TODAY! It's gorgeous! I actually have 2 of these images combined for a fuller look-- and because I wanted more of it to color! :)

So I have decided to add some mountains to the background of the stamp and of course I'll show you how I've colored the flowers. So, let's get to the tutorial.

I hope you enjoyed my Copic Tutorial. I would love for you to follow along with me. You don't even need the exact colors I used just any coordinating colors would work.

For more Copic fun visit my website, My Creative Scoop where I have tons of free tutorials, digis, color combos and I even offer online classes!

Have a wonderful week my friends!

Day 4: Christmas Organizer

Hello everyone!
It's Mindy here and today I'm sharing a fun little Christmas Organizer with you all. This is so easy and fun to make and oh so useful! I'm using this super cute Stamp Set, Glitter House Village Stamp Set on the front of the organizer. (Note: This stamp will be back in stock and shipping out December 11 — available for purchase now!) Feel free to decorate with any stamps you desire.

Christmas Organizer / Receipt Holder Tutorial
Instructions
  • Take a 12x12-inch sheet of cardstock and score it at 4 inches and 12 inches.
  • Then, turn the paper and score at 4 inches on the opposite side of the previous score lines like in the following photo.

  • Cut on the 4 and 8 inch scored lines going up to the score going across. Then you're going to want to make a thicker gap between the middle flap. Trim about 1/8 inch off at a slight angle.
  • Add a strip of glue to the sides of the flaps. You don't want to put any on the edge of the flaps because you want these to be pockets for notes, receipts, shopping lists, menus etc.
  • Fold your Christmas Organizer shut and on the back (which is the middle section of the organizer) use a thick piece of score tape and adhere some twine.
  • Then I covered the twine with some ribbon, leaving the twine unwrapped so it's able to wrap around to the front and make a bow.
  • I trimmed some paper and slid them into my slots and also took some patterned paper and decorated the outside of my pockets. You could label the pockets for each gift recipient if you'd like!
  • When you fold the top flap down you will notice I added an envelope for receipts, Christmas lists etc.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and if you would like to see how I colored this check out my blog using the link below for a coloring tutorial!

Inspire me Monday - Coloring Fall Fruit Copic Marker Tutorial with Mindy

Hello my lovely Power Poppy Friends! It's Mindy from My Creative Scoop and I have another Copic Tutorial to share with you all. Today I'm using this gorgeous Digi Stamp, Fall Haul. I just love the colors of all these Fall fruits and their deep rich tones.

In this tutorial I'll be using the following Copic Markers.

YR00, YR12, YR14, YR04, Y11, Y35, G20, G82, G85, R59, E30, E31, E33, E49, E44, B0000

I just love how the browns add so much of that natural look to the fruits making them look much more realistic. This Fall Haul digi stamp is PERFECT if you're still learning shadows with your coloring since there's a little shading in the image itself so you know where to add those shadows.

Well, I sure hope I've inspired you to follow along this tutorial. Get your Fall Haul Digi Stamp today and let's color!
