Good Vibe 5 - featuring the Weekend Stamp Steal

Hey there, Peeps! We’ve seen sooooo much sizzle happening in our creative scene recently, it would be easy for me to put together the Good Vibe Fifteen this week, but alas, I’m sticking to FIVE. I realize that after the first few bites of juicy fun, you’re ready to dash to the craft table, so let’s get going, but do scroll all the way down to get links to this week’s creations by those ever-rocking Bloomies.

GOOD VIBE #1

Coneflowers, Asters, and Wheat Stalks, OH MY! The Prairie Cheer clear polymer stamp set has 10 images, including three large botanicals and really useful, scripty sentiments. Note: the Give Thanks sentie in the image above is from Olive and Oak Expanded. Get Prairie Cheer all weekend long for only $11.99 — SAVE $6!! — offer ends Sunday evening at midnight central. But wait, there’s more...

Need a Thanksgiving card in a pinch? Download our Bittersweet Wreath digital stamp set with two warm and thankful sentiments for ONLY $1.99 now through Sunday at midnight. SAVE $3!

GOOD VIBE #2

Speaking of wreaths... did you catch Lee Ann Barrett’s (@whippetgirl_) mini card that’s absolutely packed with color and cleverness? Lee Ann used a single berry sprig from our Peony Muse set to artfully stamp out a perfect wreath. Her rustic-hued coloring and subtle background shading give it the warmest feeling. An oversized gold-embossed “Hello!” from our Loving Tulips set, stamped on vellum and placed atop, is the ideal accent. Way to go, Lee Ann, I am awed at how you took two spring-themed sets and turned them on their seasonal heads for the perfect fall card.

GOOD VIBE #3

In need of a technique to really get your head spinning? Girrrrrrl, you have GOT to go take a look at this week’s Inspire Me Monday with Allison Cope. “Turnaround stamping” is what Ally calls this rotational stamp strategy, where you use lots of smaller stamps for great effect. In fact, Ally created several variations of each stamped canvas, and shares MULTIPLE sample cards with wonderful ways to use each one. A helpful video shows you just how she does it! Allison Cope, YOU are a rockstar.

GOOD VIBE #4

From Bittersweet and berry-sprig wreaths to large berry baubles, this week’s GB5 has quite the theme going! I wanted to showcase our Instant Gardener Barbara Walker’s awesome rendition of my newest digital stamp, Forest Finds, which features a rustic grouping of pinecone, persimmon (or pomegranate!), berries, and poinsettia leaves. The techniques Barb used to render the berries gives them such a realistic touch. Read all about her process on her blog, The Buzz from Queen B. Then give it a try yourself with any of our berry-centric stamp designs.

GOOD VIBE #5

Have you gotten in on our November Power & Spark Challenge? Cindy Lawrence wants to encourage some “Portion Control”: only showing a part of the image! We’re bleeding off edges and cropping in and showcasing bits and pieces. Just look at these examples from our wonderful customer, Denise Prosser Soffa, who shared her super cool creations using Glistening Paperwhites. Come along and enter your card, you may win $50 to spend at Power Poppy!

Be sure to check out Hues to Use every Tuesday — where our designers and special guests showcase a fresh color palette every week. This week’s Icy Blues where inspired by the patina on a gate in our nation’s capital.

Get ready for a WIDE RANGE of card designs, the Bloomies are back for a Friday round up. You might even spy EVEN MORE berries in a few of these cards. And possibly a birthday cake. How about a holiday wedding card? And a peony too! We aim to share as much inspiration as possible, so come seeeee...

Be sure to return next week for a fresh edition of Inspire Me Monday, where Kathy Racoosin will be here to share ideas using images from our 2017 Happiest Holiday clear stamp collection.

Check your inbox for Black Friday specials, coming at the end of the week. Lastly, stay tuned for Saturday, November 25th, when we’ll release TWO new HOLIDAY digital stamp sets... I think you’ll have a lot of fun with them.

Big hugs, all, and Happy Weekend.

Did you change the date for the 2 new digital stamp sets? Will they be out on Dec.5th now?
