Happy Monday everyone! Welcome to another edition of Inspire Me Monday here at Power
Poppy with yours truly, Allison Cope. I hope you all had an amazing and hopefully
creative weekend.
Today I’m sharing some tips and tricks when it comes to adding shading to
your Copic coloring. Come and join me at my crafty desk … don’t forget that
refreshing drink… this one’s a little longer than usual!
Today I’m featuring one of the blooms form the new release, the Abundant
Petals stamp set.
Here are the links to the two coloring sheets I designed. Please feel free
to download them to your own computer and use them.
Here’s another close up of the images and Copic Markers I chose to use
today.
I’d love to see what you do with this little shading challenge. Share a link
to your own creations in the comment section below.
Have a great week everyone! Hope you’re enjoying some nice sunny summer
weather your way!

Wow, Ally! You've done it again, and truly INSPIRED me! I loved the video and how you explained about the shading and doing it various ways. Thanks for the great tutorial and the two wonderful downloads to keep and print out. They will be so helpful! I especially LOVED that you said "embrace your boo-boos!" YAY! I sure do! LOL! Hugs and love, sweet friend, and thanks for ALL the work and effort that goes into your videos and posts! xoxo
Hello Ally! I had a busy morning and just got back in the house and over to my computer to download the charts that you prepared. I am having trouble downloading them. I think they would really come in handy for the shading and coloring that you explained in your post. I need help.
Lucky me, I was able to download the charts after upgrading my adobe flash. All is good.
Thank you ever so much for this wonderful tutorial!!! Now I know how to go a step further in my coloring and will start using the neutral/earth colors for dimension. AND thank you, too, for the charts. Super idea.
So glad they finally got downloaded! Happy coloring!!!
You're welcome Marsha! I hope the charts come in handy!
Some of my boo-boos have been extremely cool! Plus you just learn more from them and go on to be a better colorist! Hugs my friend!
So I guess I need to make a LOT more boo-boos, eh? LOL! You are an amazing colorist, and I love learning from you! xoxo
Thanks for a great tutorial, Ally. Looking forward to give this a go when I am starting my 3-week break from work in a few days.
Happy coloring Marianne!!!! Have a great break!
